This unit a 2007 Mercury Model 500
Ferrous Baler in excellent condition. It is a
high-production rugged scrap yard baler designed for
continuous production of 20" x 20" x variable (500 mm x 500
mm) size bales. It is powered by a 100-hp electric
motor. Exceptional strength is the key to the
triple-compression machine. Production rates of up to
12 tons per hour (depending on material). Features
include an extra large charging box with shear blades on the
compressing lid and bale chamber. A heavy-duty
gathering and collecting ram holds, slides, and forces
material into the chamber as the lid closes. Three
extremely powerful rams - compressing lid, main ram and side
ram, combine to form a high-density bale. Bale exits
cleanly from side of the machine. Automatic cycling of
each function or complete manual control. |
