AFS-1010 system is designed to separate plastics from
metal that are stockpiled or landfilled. The
principle utilized in this process is commonly known as
"dense medium" separation. Treatment
capacity 20,000 lbs. per hour (10 tons per hour).
Major Equipment: Feeder/hopper & weightbelt;
3-cell scrubber; density separator; product screen -
metallics; product screen - plastic; dewatering cyclones;
water filter; sumps, pumps & mixers; water storage
tank. Multi-level mild steel structure for housing
all major components with safety railings and
stairs. A Motor Control Center will contain the
system start/stop panel and all relevant electrical
hardware. |
